To Be Eligible, Applicants must:

  • Be a US Citizen
  • Be a current resident of Coffey, Lyon or Osage County
    • A current resident is someone who has resided continuously in one of the three counties for a minimum of one year immediately prior to application. Please note: Students moving to Coffey, Lyon, or Osage County for the purpose of attending school do not gain residency for the purpose of medical or educational assistance.
  • Be under the age of 21

What does the Foundation cover?

The Jones Foundation assists with, but is not limited to:

  • Dental
  • Hospitalization
  • Physician Services
  • Psychiatric Services
  • Special Equipment Needs
  • Vision/Hearing

How does the Jones Foundation work?

For non-emergency treatment, families seeking financial assistance must make application with the Jones Foundation BEFORE medical treatment is sought.

For emergency treatment, contact must be made with the foundation office WITHIN15 working days of the emergency. This contact must be made by the family who is seeking assistance.

The board of trustees must approve all medical grants and their decision is final.
